Our organization has utilized services from Optimum Networking for more than 3 years. During that time, we have undertaken many large I.T. projects and have utilized Optimum’s expertise to supplement our internal resources. Some of the functions that Optimum has assisted us with include: network design, router configuration, security, terminal services, backups, and workstation deployment.
I have been very pleased with the results that we have obtained from Optimum. They fill an important role in assisting our I.T. department implement technologies that normally would not be encountered in a smaller I.T. organization such as ours. They have done a good job in familiarizing themselves with our facility and functions and work with us efficiently when called in.

Over the past year we have had the opportunity to work closely with Optimum Networking. Our relationship began when they completed a wide area network and local area network project for a new facility. With those projects we experienced firsthand their networking expertise in areas including security, cabling, server configuration and wireless connectivity. Since then we have utilized them for ongoing network administration.
From top to bottom we have found the staff at Optimum to be professional and responsive. During all projects they have taken the time necessary to fully explain the scope of the work in language that is easily understandable to non-technical personnel. We began our relationship with Optimum Networking in early 1997 when we first opened our business. Optimum completed a wide area network and a local area network for our offices in Lakewood and Minneapolis. From the beginning Optimum has been a pleasure to work with, they have consistently provided excellent service and recommendations.
Throughout the years, we have had the opportunity to work with many individuals from the Optimum team, all of whom have provided professional, efficient and friendly service. We rely on Optimum for all of our computer/networking service and products. They have the ability to recognize and anticipate our computer needs as well as being sensitive to the costs associated with implementing changes and upgrades.

We have worked with Optimum Networking for many years. The first project we did with Optimum was the installation of Microsoft Exchange Server. They installed Exchange on several of our servers and we always had success with the product. That successful project lead to us calling on Optimum to audit our servers for proper security protection. After a full analysis of our server configuration, they recommended several operational improvements and recommended the implementation of a firewall. We have been using the firewall now for several years and are much more confident with the security level of our servers.
Most recently, we outgrew our disk space capacity on our production servers. Since we have service contracts with our worldwide clients, downtime was a critical factor in the success of the upgrade. Optimum Networking arranged to consolidate operations from the 2 production servers to 1 server. This allowed Optimum Networking to take the first server offline for the upgrade while the other server continued to service Pragmatic Software's clients. The downtime was less than 5 minutes. Once the first server was upgraded, it became the primary production server as the second server was upgraded.
This approach met our needs by upgrading our systems without client disruption. We are very pleased with the service Optimum Networking has provided us.
